Day 11

So weak. Much excitement in the ward G6 bags of goodies arrive for the nurses. The staff from F8 wandered in here last night, and it was like new contestants arriving in the big brother house. Filtered water, amazing new fittings; they were all agog. But constant rabbit from over excited nurses? My stoma is working, they are still drawing fluid from me. I need to sleep. But will I? Three moves yesterday, the last at midnight. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก

Thats it folks shattered.

Take care Malcolm xxxx

Trust you are all surviving the madness .

Malcolm and Mary

Malcolm worked for LWT. Mary worked for TRL. They live near Camberley in Surrey and did achieve their life long ambition to visit New Zealand. They have two daughters Laura and Hannah and two grandchildren Zach & Safi. Having done the big trip they then went to Canada, which was amazing. Scroll down itโ€™s all here. They have visited Venice that they both so fell in love with in 2009 again. And recently returned to Lefkada for one week in glorious sunshine. Where next? Well, Canada is calling again in 2019; this time including Alaska. So stay tuned if you enjoy the ups and downs of travelling.

  1. Hi Malcolm. Glad to hear that your operation was a success and hopefully you are on the mend. Difficult times for everyone but good to know that you arein the hands of our wonderful NHS. Thinking of you and chin up mate. Ken

  2. They sentenced me to twenty years of boredom
For trying to change the system from within
I’m coming now, I’m coming to reward them
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

    Yes you can!

  3. Take care Malcolm, you certainly know how to pick your moment! Rest, heal and recuperate. Our Son-in-law goes in on Monday for removal of tumour, we tend to think it is all about CV in the NHS but they still have all the emergency surgery. Love to Mary, I am sure she will be as good a nurse as you could wish for when she gets you home xxxxx stay safe ๐Ÿ––

  4. Sleep tight if you can.

Surviving the madness, but thatโ€™s of no consequence compared to what youโ€™re going through.

  5. Mary is keeping us up to date with your progress Malcolm. Keep smiling and hopefully we can have a glass of wine together in the not too distant future. Love from Jackie and myself
