Hello Seattle.

Neither of us is sleepless in this gaff at all; in fact quite the opposite. It’s only 7pm here and still June 5th, but in dear old blighty it’s three o’clock in the morning and as a result also in our heads!

The actual plane was a tad bigger than this rather splendid model. And dinner started with smoked salmon.

Excellent service, and as if the beef wasn’t enough after the salmon, just before we landed a light afternoon tea was taken!

It had to be done! Whilst listening to some wonderful comedy radio; not the original Humphrey Littleton, unfortunately but a good chuckle, non the less.  Landed smoothly at 5-15pm local and in the taxi by six o’clock. A splendid view from the hotel, and just a quick drink, a very light snack and BED, methinks.

Thanks for reading, and like our chums Sandra and Simon, currently in Las Vegas, a rather subdued first day tomorrow, perhaps?

Malcolm and Mary

Malcolm worked for LWT. Mary worked for TRL. They live near Camberley in Surrey and did achieve their life long ambition to visit New Zealand. They have two daughters Laura and Hannah and two grandchildren Zach & Safi. Having done the big trip they then went to Canada, which was amazing. Scroll down it’s all here. They have visited Venice that they both so fell in love with in 2009 again. And recently returned to Lefkada for one week in glorious sunshine. Where next? Well, Canada is calling again in 2019; this time including Alaska. So stay tuned if you enjoy the ups and downs of travelling.

  1. Hi M&M, pleased to see you arrived safe and sound. Love the pics ……. is that a sheep in your room? 😂 Meant to say with regards to posting videos ……… if you want to post a pre-recorded video, say from YouTube, then you would do that by copying the ’embed’ code into your post, then when you publish the video will appear but if you take one on your phone then you upload that the same as you do with photos. Hope that makes sense! S. xx

    1. Not sure S & S it might be a Bear! Will examine it a bit closer through less tired eyes today. Thanks for the video stuff. May give it a whirl. Like you we feel a quiet first day coming on. M xxx
