Great party, reasonable weather, brilliant cake!

The weather forecast when we left had been absolutely awful but the last two days have not been so bad! The hotel was packed this morning at breakfast but they have rearranged the food buffet area and the seating, so no queue.

The deer outside the hotel, are in a slightly more distant field but breakfast done and dusted away to chez Laura’s: where there is a whole wall devoted to photos and artistic achievements.

The troops were already very excited, so the cake was prepared, the presents packed and away to the farm.

Round up the usual suspects; everyone was there. And Laurent , having led the games, the gang sat down for a feast.

Presents galore and some for Safi! Hannah photo bombing a picture of Lola, the cat and Zach throwing a newly acquired parachute out of a window!

Happy days! And that was that for another year and then he will be 10!

Malcolm and Mary

Malcolm worked for LWT. Mary worked for TRL. They live near Camberley in Surrey and did achieve their life long ambition to visit New Zealand. They have two daughters Laura and Hannah and two grandchildren Zach & Safi. Having done the big trip they then went to Canada, which was amazing. Scroll down it’s all here. They have visited Venice that they both so fell in love with in 2009 again. And recently returned to Lefkada for one week in glorious sunshine. Where next? Well, Canada is calling again in 2019; this time including Alaska. So stay tuned if you enjoy the ups and downs of travelling.
