It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

The Treen Christmas tree is up. The shopping is β€œnearly” done.

We eagerly await the arrival of Zach and Safi because our Christmas lunch is going to be on Friday 28th of December; turkey and all the trimmings, I believe is the phrase!

Meanwhile on Christmas Day, Mary and I will pull a cracker and tuck into the duck on our own. (Big sigh! No we will be fine, don’t worry!) May we take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a really wonderful and prosperous and β€œhealthy” (it’s an age thing!) New Year!

We have been so lucky to have seen so many great things this year! And to have had fun!

From us both, lots of hugs and have a great time!

Malcolm and Mary

Malcolm worked for LWT. Mary worked for TRL. They live near Camberley in Surrey and did achieve their life long ambition to visit New Zealand. They have two daughters Laura and Hannah and two grandchildren Zach & Safi. Having done the big trip they then went to Canada, which was amazing. Scroll down it’s all here. They have visited Venice that they both so fell in love with in 2009 again. And recently returned to Lefkada for one week in glorious sunshine. Where next? Well, Canada is calling again in 2019; this time including Alaska. So stay tuned if you enjoy the ups and downs of travelling.

  1. A very happy Christmas to you both. Last year
We spent Christmas Day at the beach
With the dog. Happens alternate years
Now we are β€˜sharing the family’. Xxx

  2. The glam pic of Mary COULD have been Salcombe, but methinks it was Greece! Enjoy yours. My plans to meet Trish, or rather for her to meet me, off the train at Cheltenham for lunch & shopping on Sat have been thwarted: her flight back from New York isn’t now arriving until Sat midday, so have bought another ticket down to Stonehouse (you have to change at Cheltenham anyway) and a neighbour has a key. James will collect me & luggage (presents going Thurs via Sarah who came down at weekend) Xmas Eve when they’re ready for me. J tried to wind me up today saying Charlie had become vegetarian so it wasn’t rib of roast beef but nut roast! Naughty boy.

See you next year! Will deffo make the effort to visit. Love Pennie xx
