Treen’s Tours last day Saturday.

It snowed overnight! What a difference a day makes.

So a brisk walk round Gruyeres and off to the car park to meet the gang for lunch in Gruyeres!

Away to an art exhibition and back to Laura’s to open presents, eat birthday cake and play Monopoly………..not necessarily in that order!

Zach had returned from skiing with the school with a bit of a cough but was so tired he had a good nights sleep. The cake was a triumph of combined culinary skills from Mary and Laura!

And so it was all over too quickly but Zach was given a couple of gifts so he didn’t feel left out!

Safi had to wear special glasses for one present to mix fairy dust! Don’t you just love it? And a message from Mike, round the corner in Darby Green, let’s us know there has been a shooting just down the road! Suddenly we don’t want to go home!

And that’s your lot! Back on the 7-55 flight to Heathrow tomorrow night. Did your kids play with Sylvanian dolls? They are still going and Safi loved them and the hotel had looked pretty grey, earlier on.  And if you wanted to sit out (ha! ha!) they were kind enough to put sheep skins over the backs of the chairs.

Lunch by a beautiful lake tomorrow. And tears will be shed at saying goodbye once more but, like I said, we will be back in May for Zach’s birthday. Keep your heads down in Blackwater, and all of you stay safe.

Thankyou for reading M & M 🇨🇭🇨🇭✈️✈️✈️

Malcolm and Mary

Malcolm worked for LWT. Mary worked for TRL. They live near Camberley in Surrey and did achieve their life long ambition to visit New Zealand. They have two daughters Laura and Hannah and two grandchildren Zach & Safi. Having done the big trip they then went to Canada, which was amazing. Scroll down it’s all here. They have visited Venice that they both so fell in love with in 2009 again. And recently returned to Lefkada for one week in glorious sunshine. Where next? Well, Canada is calling again in 2019; this time including Alaska. So stay tuned if you enjoy the ups and downs of travelling.
