Tuesday; its hot and they are not used to it.

Ah yes last night; the Ice House Oyster Bar, not too crowded when we arrived but filled up fairly quickly. What a setting, what food, what a lucky couple of people we are.

Glorious day, glorious start. Breakfast in our room!!! And the view with the tide now out (we are looking at the Pacific by the way) just got better.

We went to Schooner Cove, quite a walk through the temperate rain forest to the beach.

The trees are amazing Redwoods. Mary kept telling me I would earn lots of brownie points for hiking this far; as always so difficult to earn, so easily lost. When we made it to the beach, I sat quietly waiting for the beach volleyball match to start but no such luck. And no the wolf warning does not mean me! But does kinda stop you in your tracks.

Some of the root formations were amazing. And there are lots and lots of trees.

Back into town to fill in the paperwork for bear watching tomorrow morning , Β  Β  Β  Β  Β (6-30am there! Black ones this time.) we booked a table for dinner and then we picked up a picnic lunch and had it back at the B&B, gazing at the beautiful view; the tide having now come back in.

A few emails and a bit of a read then off to Long Beach, happy home to surfers galoreΒ πŸ„. We watched and now suddenly knew where everyone had gone!

They were all hanging out here in their wet suites. Back to the B&B and Mary struggled trying to post stuff on Facebook; luckily tonight the blog seems to be behaving itself. Fresh memory cards in the cameras, lenses cleaned; we go off in a rib boat tomorrow (rigid inflatable boat) wearing big red suites tomorrow, should be game for a laugh!

See you back here! No idea what was in the paper bag and Mary still stalking them!

Thanks for reading and commenting!
