Sunday, truly a day of rest.

I bid the lovely lady at breakfast a hearty, “Kalimera!” She smiled broadly as she said it back. The sun was shining.

And that was that, we went down to the beach (not a beach as we know it Jim) at the hotel and we stayed there. So here below are a few picture highlights from during the week. I took very few today but Mary did take a couple.

It's amazing these ladies in black still exist. She had quite a conversation with us that we unfortunately didn't understand.

The forecast for tomorrow is even better, so it may be more of the same.

Malcolm and Mary

Malcolm worked for LWT. Mary worked for TRL. They live near Camberley in Surrey and did achieve their life long ambition to visit New Zealand. They have two daughters Laura and Hannah and two grandchildren Zach & Safi. Having done the big trip they then went to Canada, which was amazing. Scroll down it’s all here. They have visited Venice that they both so fell in love with in 2009 again. And recently returned to Lefkada for one week in glorious sunshine. Where next? Well, Canada is calling again in 2019; this time including Alaska. So stay tuned if you enjoy the ups and downs of travelling.

  1. It sounds as though you are having a lovely relaxing holiday in spite of the occasional rain showers. Enjoy. Major water leak in the road near your house last night. People working all night to repair it. You haven’t missed a thing!!
