Sunshine at last.

The day dawned bright and sunny.

Sunshine opposite at last.
Sunshine opposite at last.

After a hearty breakfast we strolled into the village of Mikros Gailos and paused for coffee.

Anyone for Octopus tonight?
Anyone for Octopus tonight?
Octopus. Did someone say Octopus?
Octopus. Did someone say Octopus?

The light on the water was just stunning.

Like a thousand diamonds.
Like a thousand diamonds.

We went back to the hotel and swam in the sea. Mary’s first swim was cut short by the arrival of a rather large jelly fish, the size of a dinner plate, near by! We chilled all afternoon. We went back into the village for dinner and ate a wonderful meal in a taverna for half the price it would have cost in the hotel.

So Greek.
So Greek

Tomorrow we are off to Meganisi on the ferry, hopefully to arrive for lunch. Oh yes, the picture of the car will be included.

There must be better places but for the life of me I can't think of one.

More tomorrow. Take care M & M
