Thursday back posted.

So we bid a fond farewell to Martin and Sylvia and headed for the Coromandel Peninsula and our next bed at Hot Water Beach.

Sylvia, Mary and Martin.

How many of these survived, let alone the other side of the world?

The bed at Hot Water Beach looked wonderful and yet another view to die for. Gail welcomed us warmly with a cup of tea, and Trevor turned the car round as he was rather expert in ‘backing’ it down the drive! A little gloomy but the following day was to brighten up for our fantastic day trip with Kiwi Dundee, aka Doug. Isn’t hindsight back blogging great!

Never realised how welcoming a bed could look at 5pm. Must be an age thing.

The view from the B & B just got better and better.

So from both of us to all of you! Glad to be back and hope you didn’t miss us too much.

Malcolm and Mary

Malcolm worked for LWT. Mary worked for TRL. They live near Camberley in Surrey and did achieve their life long ambition to visit New Zealand. They have two daughters Laura and Hannah and two grandchildren Zach & Safi. Having done the big trip they then went to Canada, which was amazing. Scroll down it’s all here. They have visited Venice that they both so fell in love with in 2009 again. And recently returned to Lefkada for one week in glorious sunshine. Where next? Well, Canada is calling again in 2019; this time including Alaska. So stay tuned if you enjoy the ups and downs of travelling.
